Staroma 3.0 is the SS316 Stainless Steel version of Taroma 3.0
Staroma 3.0 is the latest upgrade for our Staroma Series Injectors. Following the unbelievable success of our Staroma Lite Plus series, we've incorporated everything you liked about Staroma Lite Plus, in an enclosed format. No other enclosed model comes close to the sheer performance of Staroma 3.0
Compared to the 2.0, the 3.0 utilizes less mass, lower operating temperatures, more rubies and a more open airflow. The 3.0 also has most of its rubies situated in "Heater Coil Zone"
Staroma 3.0 uses 300++pcs of 3mm rubies. Begin operation at no more than 535F
Staroma 3.0 requires the same amount of Coil Stretch, as a Staroma Lite Plus. Coil needs to be stretched slightly longer than the Gemstone Chamber length, and then pushed back (like a spring) with the cap, for a good and tight fit. Alternatively, you may also purchase a pre stretched coil here
The built in Gemstone Chamber acts as airflow control, and for better heat retention/recovery due to increased total mass. You can add or mix Aroma Pearls and/or pillars of different color and sizes, for endless combinations and possibilities. We only offer 3mm Ruby Aroma Pearls at the moment. Taroma is not designed to be used with an empty Gemstone Chamber. Do not attempt to overfill the Gemstone Chamber.
The Staroma housing is designed to fit an industry standard 20mm Heater Coil. These are common heater coils used in household appliances such as coffee machines etc. This is then plugged into the PID Controller. Together with the Adapter Bowl, Qaromashop Aroma Pearls, Stand and Coil Handle, your Staroma DIY Kit is now complete and ready for use.
Do not modify or use incompatible coils on Staroma. If you are not familiar with the different pinouts in the market, it is highly recommended that you purchase full kits instead. For reference, our Coil Pinout is:

Note: When resting the heater for a long time, the Staroma Stand will feel like touching a bowl of hot soup. However, it is safe to touch for a few seconds.
The applications for Staroma are endless. Anyone who requires small scale, ultra clean convection heating, at precise temperatures will benefit from the Staroma. Due to its standard laboratory glass sizes, modifying the Staroma to suit your needs is made very easy. There are truly no fixed way to use the Staroma.
